The Southwest Reunion of Viejitos Albuquerque chapter was the bomb, or better said “thee bomb”. In fact, there were dozens of bombs as well as a profusion of custom lowriders and motorcycles.
The car show was held at Albuquerque’s Los Altos 32-acre city park and attracted several out of state car clubs.
In reunion were Viejitos Illinois, Oklahoma, California and Rio Grande Valley chapters. Other local and out of state car clubs fetched their friends, families and grills and journeyed to Los Altos park to join the Viejitos in an afternoon of music, car exhibitions and fun. Those in attendance were Viejitos Albuquerque, Northern Illinois, Rio Grande Valley, and Inland Empire chapters, as well as car clubs such as Las Cruces New Mexico and El Paso Texas’ Old Memories, Our Story, and Latin Pride.
Chicano’s Pride of Las Vegas New Mexico, Dukes, Imperials, Oxnard California’s Latin Bombas, Albuquerque’s Oldies and Low Vision were there as well to sport their rides.
We were fortunate enough to make it to this great car show and capture these photos.
