The church of Victory Outreach was the center of attention this weekend after local car clubs along with old school hip-hop artist MC Blvd decided to reach out to El Paso's youths and discourage them from joining gangs, committing crimes and using drugs.
MC Blvd, who stated that he became a believer of Christ after living a hard life of crime and sin says that he loves El Paso.
"El Paso's hot, but there's an even hotter place I don't want to go to!" shouted out MC Blvd of Los Angeles, California while referring to hell. "I have a lot of love for El Paso; my father was born here and I've got uncles and cousins here!"
Victory Outreach originated in 1967 and has helped steer hundreds of troubled youths, drug addicts and ex-convicts in the right direction. In over 600 Victory Outreach churches and centers worldwide, it is compassion that triumphs...faith that endures.
