Congratulations to the John Bray Boxing Foundation for there sincere support and charitable efforts in giving dozens of Los Angeles area youths an opportunity to learn the art of boxing.

The exciting 2nd annual John Bray Free Youth Boxing Clinic took place on Saturday February 7th at the LAPD Foothill Jeopardy facility in San Fernando, CA.

The enthusiasm the kids showed while listening to inspiring boxing stories from community leaders, professional boxers and trainers was great.

The kids discovered that boxing is a mixture of agility and skill. They learned the sports basics such as proper boxer’s stance, offense and defense positions. They practiced these skills by punching the mitts, speed bags, and heavy bags with their trainers.

The non profit John Bray Boxing Foundation encourages youths to stay off the streets and teaches them the importance of integrity, good sportsmanship and self discipline.

It is refreshing to see an organization willing to invest their time and open up new horizons to young people while giving them the opportunity of alternative choices in lifestyles.
