We’re proud to introduce our viewers to the extrememly talented band, Sticky Situation, a Reggae /Ska / Acoustic style band from the coastal city of Encinitas, California.
Sticky Situation strike an upbeat beach vibe which appeals to the west coast's surfing, art, and skateboarding community.
These talented musicians are set to perform at the exclusive Battle of Orange County Charity Event December 13th, 2008.
Sticky Situation is based on a rhythmic style characterized by regular beats on the off-beat, and blends perfectly with a natural flow of acoustic.
Although strongly influenced by both traditional African and Polynesian music, as well as by American rockabilly and rhythm and blues, Sticky Situation has a rare and unique style.
Sticky Situation have created a variety of catchy songs that include "In this Life", Hawaiian 2000, "Beach in Hawaii" and "Barely Legal".
The bands' "In this Life" song tells an interesting story about a skater confused of where he is headed in life after doing time in prison.
Sticky Situation's "Barely Legal", another one of our favorites, paints the portrait of a man in a relationship with an attractive 17 year old girl who is barely legal and quite promiscuous. This girl is a wild child and a potential danger, but how was he supposed to know that this sexy girl-woman was only 17.
