Revolting Cocks

We're proud to present "Revolting Cocks" and these exclusive photos taken of Ministry frontman , Al Jourgensen

The former founder of popular heavy metal band Ministry, selected west El Paso's Uncle Paulie's Pub as the place to celebrate the birthday of his wife Angelina Lukacin. His appearance at Uncle Paulie's Pub was an unexpected surprise, so these photos of the industrial metal legend are 100% exclusive.
Word of Al Jourgensen's special appearance at Uncle Paulie's Pub was not formally publicized, but news of his planned attendance did spread throughout El Paso's underground music community.  When fans heard about the rumor, most would have never believed it to be true. What a surprise it was to see Al Jourgensen, his wife Angie, and the Revolting Cocks come blasting through the front swivel doors of Uncle Paulie's.

Jourgensen then boldly demanded that waiters fetch him a bottle of Jack Daniels Whiskey, in which they quickly provided.
The Revolting Cocks then robbed the stage and humored the crowd with a live acoustic performance before Al Jourgensen himself was called to join. There the master musician gave a shout out to his wife Angie and wished her a Happy Birthday.
Al Jourgensen then put on a spectacular personal performance alongside the Revolting Cocks, who carried on a tune by plucking the strings of their acoustic guitars.
The crowd went fanatical and bomb rushed the stage to sneak a peek of the former Ministry lead singer

Al Jourgensen formed his musical side project the "Revolving Cocks" in 1985. The group's outrageous name came as a result of a bar line-up one night with Jourgensen, Patrick Codneys and Richard 23. The undomesticated musicians got drunk and were kicked out of the bar, whose owner called the group a bunch of "Revolting Cocks". What better way to describe a group who sing perverse lyrics meant to enrage moralists and closed-minded conventionalists.

The Revolting Cocks' talent in kicking up controversy prevailed! So much that in 1990, Britain's Home Secretary Douglas Hurd attempted to ban the indifferent band from performing in the UK. The group rapidly changes its set of musicians but is centered on Paul Barker of Ministry and Chris Connelly of Damage Manuel.  The extreme group currently consists of:
Al Jourgensen (Vox), guitar, Luc Van Acker (Vox), Phildo Owen (Vox), Josh Bradford (Vox), Anna K (Bass), Seven Antonopoulos (Drums), Sin (Guitars) and Clayton Worbeck (Keyboards).

As for Al Jourgensen's role in the popular Ministry band, he too founded the group in 1981. Ministry became a rapid mainstream success and dominated the airwaves with their Psalm 69 album. After 27 years of heavy metal excellence, Al Jourgensen decided to retire in 2008.

Ministry's farewell tour,  the "C-U-LaTour" started in Chicago and ended in Dublin, Ireland on July 19, 2008. That marked a date when one of music's greatest bands passed away, but would live on as one of music's most missed heavy metal bands.
