Through those turbulent waves I pass,
Reaching out my hand I look for a sign
Darkness envelopes me, drowning me
I struggle searching for a sign.
And then, I let go, I close my eyes
And I see something, I see a light
Illuminating my existence
Reflecting the depths of my soul.
I smile, the radiance giving me life
I reach the shore & I look upon heaven,
a gentle gust of wind,
Soothes my parched soul
Clouds glide through the blue sky,
enveloping me with warmth.
The blue horizon so infinite & unfound
Leaving reminiscence of a feeling
so unconditional so profound
Nourishing my being,
Educing life that was once
lost beneath the roots of a memory,
far beyond the depths of a journey untold.
I open my eyes,
I see brightness, proliferating my existence
Through the darkest moments I prevailed,
Rising to meet the endless encumbrance.
Fear departed, I gaze upon the shore
spreading my wings I take flight
I soar triumphantly towards my goal,
