Elvis Presley began his music career performing a sytle of music called rockabilly, a fusion of rythym & blues and country. He recorded Rock n Roll songs with tracks like "Hound Dog" and "Jailhouse Rock".

Elvis made the majority of his thirty-three movies throughout his career and became one of the best-selling and most influential artists in the history of popular music. Drug abuse plagued Presley in later life which, coupled with a punishing tour schedule led to his premature death.
