Ross Puritty

JMTK is a mixed martial arts training center that practices the art of Boxing, Muay Thai Kickboxing, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

With fourteen different experienced trainers, including former pro heavy weight boxer Ross Puritty, JMTK offers the best training in Wichita and the entire state of Kansas.

This highly regarded 6,000 square foot gym also hosts professional fighters including 3 fighters from the World Combat League's Oklahoma Destroyers: Douglas "Whirlwind" Edwards, Johnny "The Saint" McKibben, and Donovan Smith.

We were invited to proudly feature the JanJira Muay Thai Kansas Gym and photographed experienced boxing trainers showing area youths how to box. These trainers teach these young warriors the value of self discipline, hard work and respect, a human quality that sets most of these boys down the right path.

Ross Puritty is one of these great trainers and has dedicated his life in reaching out to youngsters who need structure in their lives.  Once these kids fight and have proven to be serious about boxing, they take the name of the trainer.

How much more of an honor could it be for a young man to proudly claim that he was trained by someone as great as Ross Puritty and the JanJira Muay Thai Kansas Gym?
