If there is a lowrider classic most lowrider fans are both fond and familiar
with it 's likely the Chevy Impala lowrider of the late 1950's and early
60''s.
The lowrider Impala, especially the 1963 and 64 are as 100% low low as the
low rider man .
The Chevy Impala of the 60's is a star in Hollywood and is the mainstream lowrider. It's a stereotype. When people think of a lowrider they think Impala. Who doesn't know about the funny Cheech and Chong "Love Machine" or about the lyrically speaking Ice Cube and his fine taste for Chevy Impala lowriders.
AMERICAN PEDIGREE
Of pure American pedigree, the Chevrolet Impala was born in 1958. The Chevy
Impala was built by American hands and outfitted with miles of stainless
steel moldings, trim and chrome. Chevy didn't skimp when putting this car
together.
Receiving its name from the powerful African antelope, the Chevy Impala is motorized by a strong engine and runs smooth like a luxury liner in the Pacific Ocean.
